Bio

I have been studying Art history and Communication at Stockholm University. Frankly, I have followed a long and winding road, working for various organizations and in different positions. I also have acheived a Diploma in Marketing. A few years back, I found a job which I was absolute passionate about: Marketing and communications, with focus on innovative web marketing.

I have several years experience of work with international marketing, primarily in the telecom business. I am an experienced project leader in the management of global project teams. As a dedicated team player and a responsible self-starter, I am very capable of self-motivated work. I have accomplished to successfully manage many simultaneous and diverse activities in order to achieve pre-set goals. I am creative, hands-on and an enthusiastic individual, who thrives in challenge.

Employment

In the early 90's, I worked for Swedish Television (public service), as researcher and reporter. Between 1994 and 1995, I was employed in the position as archivist at Omsorgsnämnden.

I gave birth to the two children of our family, Fredrik and Freja, in 1995 and 1997, respectively. In 1997, I worked as web editor, this at Swedens very first web portal, www.passagen.se.

Between 1998 and 2000, I took positions as consultant in different organizations; The Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Banverket and also the Swedish Life Saving Society, to mention a few.

In the year of 2001, I took employment at Ericsson. I worked as an executive assistant in the years 2001-2004. After graduation in marketing at the IHM Business School, I worked with Marketing & Communications, this in the period of 2004-2008. In May 2008, the Canadian-based telecom company Aastra acquired Ericsson’s Enterprise Communications Division. After this, I continued to work, now employed by Aastra.

I started my own company, Larsson Communication, in December 2008.

Since June 2009, I've been working with the LifeGene study, -a national collaborative project designed to build up a resource for research in all medical disciplines, enabling new and groundbreaking research on the relationships among heredity, environment and lifestyle. The study, which is unique in the world, will include studying half a million Swedes with the aim of creating new tools to prevent, diagnose and treat our most common diseases.
